The grading system used at the Belmopan Comprehensive School is numerical.  Prior to 1979, letter grades were used.  In that same year, the letter system was changed to numerical grades.  The passing grade was a 50%.  Today, Physical Education and Life skills (in First and Second Form) are the only two subjects using a letter grade.  In 2007, the 50% was replaced with a 70% as the passing mark.
